Email notifications

Hey all,

How can I change my default email notification? I have a folder on on my SD card root/media/notifications. I have ringtones and such in there. However when I go to the menu...settings...and try to change the ringtone for email...there are no options there at all to select other ones. I can only check mark off the option to be notified. How do I get to choose the other ones I have?

I think for email, you have to go into the phone settings, and set a default notification sound for the phone as a whole. Then for things like SMS, you can choose a different notification from inside whatever app you are using for text. But I may be wrong.
