Help email on dhd

Can someone help me please ,why when I get an email does it come into my g-mail and my mail ,all I want is it to comr into one or the other ,please help .

If you've got your gmail account set to autosync, it will go to both.

Is IMAP activated in your gmail account?

I think it is , should i turn it off ?

If IMAP is activated in your gmail account, you can turn off gmail/autosync. You're emails will still be pushed to the email app if IMAP is enabled.

I think I've turned the IMAP off it shows a grey icon in accounts / sync .why does gmail widget when pressed display more in my inbox than the mail widget ?

Potentially because they're set to sync at different intervals. Which one would you prefer to use, Gmail or the Mail app?

Remove auto sync from your gmail account, check that the IMAP option is enabled in your gmail account via a PC and you should be good to go.
