Help email on hotmail stopped working.

Have been sending a few emails no problem, then suddenly the phone is saying the account setting is incorrect. I am not aware i have made any changes and everything looks ok in the account. I can still recieve but not send . Any ideas?

Had the same thing happen to me this morning - no idea what has happened.

Saying that the authentication failed. Check username and password but when I check it all is fine and it does not work.

Also saying that it cannot coonect to mail server to verify your account. Your server is not responding. I can get on the email from my laptop.

Anyone shed any light on it?

I have the same thing...
Last time I tried this, it worked. I did this after a hard reset, so I imagine something has changed on the Hotmail side...

yep, I have exactly the same problem, I noticed it today when I troied to reply to an email using my desire

Happens sometimes on mine, i find a reboot solves it.
