email problem

Receiving emails fine but all of the sudden, I can't send or forward emails. Sound familiar to anyone?

Which email app? gmail or mail app?

I am using the mail app... my email account is with optonline if that makes a difference.

You did it again Caddyman! Thanks for the info... somehow, my outgoing port address was changed. Changed it to port address in your thread and I am off to the races again.
