Firstly, I not very technical, so I apologise if I am being very simplistic.
I got a Samsung Galaxy S2 this week. I have managed to set up my apps, etc. But I am having problems with my emails. I have somehow (not sure how) set my hotmail account up. But I am not receiving any notifications of when I receive new emails (On my old phone, a symbol appeared in the notifications bar each time I got an email). I have to go into the email app now and press refresh to see if I've any new messages. I have checked the settings, and there is a tick in the email notifications box.
Is there anything else I need to change in order to receive these notifications. I am not sure if it maybe to do with the incoming and outgoing settings as I am not convinced I've set these up correctly.
