On my new Atrix 2 every time I open eMail the inbox is full of eMail I have on my PC. Is there a way to disable automatic send and receive on the Atrix 2?

Welcome to the forums, vettenut.

If you have Gmail set to auto sync, you'll see the emails show up on your device as well as any other computer you use to check Gmail (others such as yahoo, etc as well ).

Just go into the "accounts" menu on your phone and disable auto sync, then if and when you want those emails on your phone you can just sync manually by opening the app.
