Orange just replaced my htc desire as I was having gps problems. As I set up the new phone I am unable to get things how they were before.
A bunch of little things - the one that is annoying me now is minor. Before gmail only opened if I specifically clicked on the ap. Notifications about my emails (to a gmail account) came via the device's email programme, which I prefer.
Now gmail opens on startup and the notifications come from there, even though I have set the device's mail programme to give the notifications instead.
(Incidentally I have two email accounts, both registered with the device's mail programme, and gmail app is also using one of those accounts).
Any advice on these settings appreciated
