Help email sync disabled

Hi how can you disable your email? I want to log out from my email but i cant find the icon for signing out? I dont want my email to be on always...thank you

I've done everything suggested in this forum and all of my settings are set to sync but I'm still having this issue. I have three pop3 email accounts. My main account sync continues to get disabled and my other two accounts just grt deleted! So every day I have to manually sync my main email account and add my other email accounts back in. Any other words of advice? If I cant get it fixed I'm going to the store.

Thank you so much for coming back and posting this. It totally solved the problem on my Samsung Fame.... which had been driving me to distraction.
