Help Emails disappearing help please.

[MH75]

For some reason my phone keeps deleting my emails!

I have tried the HTC and K9 clients but they both do it.

It happens when I refresh/check mail, it deletes any emails Ive previously read.

I have a POP3 account and really need to keep using this account but not have important stuff being deleted.

Please, please help.

If you go into the mail app, then menu, more, settings, send & receive, check what the download options set to, I have mine as download by days then all for gmail, but my hotmail is download by number 20.

theoretically its not deleting your emails more hiding them.

Just realised I never ssaid thanks for your help.

So, anyway thanks!

I managed to sort it out by making my account an imap one.

Other than that I found no other way to stop it deleting the emails from the phone!
