Help Emails wont delete

So before you reply can you PLEASE read the post and apply the answer to the post!

I have my work email set up on my phone. I use outlook on my work PC. When i get emails on my work PC the S3 dings and i get the email...no dramas.

When i delete the email whilst im on my pc...the S3 DOESNT...i repeat...DOESNT delete the email until i actually go into the email app and refresh it...ive set it up correctly (both peak and offpeak are push) from what i can see but wanted to know if this was an issue?

The phone wont know its deleted until it resyncs with the server

i assume this is through Exchange?

I will try mine when i get a chance and see if it does the same

My note 2 and s3 do exactly the same. It depends on the settings you have on email updates on the phone. If you click the refresh button on your s3 manually it will sync with the server immediately.

thanks for the replies guys...i dont want to have to sync it with the server each and every time hence the post...no matter what settings i have you have to manually update it....i think this is a big miss with JB or maybe just the S3. I cant see why it can update when emails are received but not update when they are deleted?? it may only be a small thing but god damn its giving me the sh!ts

Exchange has to have Push enabled so if its not then push wont work and you have to schedule it

yep push is enabled...it worked fine on the iphone but not with the S3 which is annoying because the S3 is a billion times better than the iphone but just falls short on a few things..gallery, alerts and email
