Help Emergency Call Button-Gone?!

I've just started noticing this about 3 days ago. I have to enter in the locked phone "puzzle" and I've noticed that the emergency button wasn't there. Im wondering if I'm the only one or am is it just my phone? I've noticed that this phone can be a bit buggy at times! Note: I have not had the update done on this phone. The only big recent app that I've installed is handcent.

I don't have anything installed like that. It happens maybe 3 or 4 times a day since I've noticed it.
