Help emergency calls only?

hi need help i bought a near new galaxy note 2 that was UNLOCKED to any network (it came from the 3 store)
im on o2/giffgaff but if i put any other sim (iv tried voda-orange-tmobile) i get emergency calls only but put a 3 sim in and it works
its rooted i used the galxsim from play store to unlock it

Not a lot to suggest but when I had a similar problem in getting my phone to 'forget' an orange/t-mobile SIM card (in favour of a Three card) I eventually resorted to a factory reset to clear it. To be doubly certain I used NeoGrandizer's method as described by him at :-

PS just ignore the subject line; the relevant posts are #6, #16 and #21. Be sure to back up and remove the microSD card (if you wonder why look at http://androidforums.com/samsung-galaxy-note-2/692537-firmware-updates-toast-msd-card.html ). Just to be extra cautious I also removed my SIM card and only replaced it, after the FR, when I was in a good 'Three' signal area.
