emergency charger

can i use an emergency charger that takes a single AA battery to charge my EVO. i realize that i will need a lot of batteries. but will it have any negative affects on the phone or not be able to put out enough power. thanks.

My wife and I now own 4. We always have a spare on us and trade a used spare for a charged up one. Works great for us.

When you go to website the Evo is listed as one of the compatible phones and it was recommended to me by a sprint CS rep but I didn't purchase it

Solar charges are crap, if you get anything get nice Dynamo (hand crank device)

To charge a phone you need to keep voltage at between 4.9v and 6v or you will destroy your device. Also you need to be pushing between 500mA-1a.

The amperage is VERY important the closer you are to 1amp the faster your device will charge.
