Root emoji project

i dont think anyone has asked this,

handcent sms, emoji pack, the emoji pictures whatever you want to call them, it there a way to pull them (ttf?) from the apk, and just add them to my system fonts, like the ttf files, to use them with the stock system messenger? the stock messenger has grown on me and using an app like so just doesn't feel right to me.

anyone up to the task of looking into it?

if you search for emoji keyboard in play store and read the description it shows you how to get them to come up by editing the system fonts. I couldnt figure it out but all the steps are there. If you get it i would appreciate if you help me out

did that, but its just for the handful of them..... and the one in the app store is the same, just black and white, handful of smilies. im talking about the full blown, poop, gun, bomb, etc.
