Too many variables. Sync frequency, signal strength, wifi vs 3g vs 4g, sound level, blah blah.

I don't think there's a rule of thumb. Just try it for yourself. It's probably best not to worry about every % of battery life. Just carry spare batteries or a usb cable and enjoy the hell out of your EVO.
