Help Enable always on mobile data

Hi all

A freind of mine recommend that I uncheck this. He said it saves battery life as it isnt always checking the net but everything still works fine. Is this right?

You can turn it off no problem, i keep mine on all the time & get a good battery life.
The better option is to lower the frequency of emails checking or select to check manually

Ill try anything. Maybe its because the phone is new to me and I have been off work so been playing around with it alot, but its only been lasting till tea time. well, its into the yellow by then. Been giving it a bit of a trickle charge from USB to tide it over until its over night charge

When I had this option, I unticked mine. I still got gmail push emails.
