Root Enable capacitive buttons on CM11 (or reduce NavBar))

edoz90

Lurker
Hi all! I would like to know how to enable the capacitive keys on the s3 mini with cyanogenmod 11 (KitKat). it's a bit annoying using the navigation bar (qemu.hw.mainkeys=0). :(
they worked with the samsung firmware.

(otherwise I would like to reduce the navigation bar) :D

Thanks for the help. :)

Hiya and welcome to Android forums!

Sorry to hear about your problem, with the nav bar, your touch capacitive buttons completely doesn't work?

It's been a while since I've used a cm based rom, but I'm thinking under settings/display should be your nav bar options. I apologize if I'm wrong but I think that's where those settings are.

I've moved this into the s3 mini forums as well.

thanks for the reply!!
i've the menu under the settings but i can't resize the nav bar, i can only change the buttons on it.

The capacitive buttons works (worked with the original samsung firmware): sometimes they blink for about 5-6 seconds after the boot.

I've also notice that I don't have this file: sec_touchkey.kl under /system/usr/keylayout
