Help Encripted Wifi???

I need some information. Is my phone supposed to be receiving the wifi signal from my wireless network when I am home? I am wondering because I get no wifi bars and only a sometimes 1x signal on 3g. Now is this because my wifi is encrypted? If so how can I attach to my wireless network? Is there a way to add the encryption? Thanks for the help. 1943

Well DUH!!! There is nothing wrong with me a new brain wouldn't fix. Thank you so much. I found the settings and put in my encryption and now have a great signal. I also checked to use 3G when wifi is not available. Again thanks for the help. 1943
