Help Encrypted SD card issue

Note3user

Lurker
I have a very specific problem that I have been trying to solve with no avail for the past 3 weeks.

I have a Galaxy Note 3 that is provided by my company which also enforces the use of the MobileIron app.

I currently have a Sandisk Pixtor 32g microSD card and have been using it for the past 6 months with no issue. For some reason about 3 weeks ago the SD card can no longer be read on the phone. After discussions with Verizon, Samsung, Apple (in case I could open it on the MacBook), my IT dept and several forums I am more frustrated than ever.

Here are the facts I have come up with:

- My phone will not read any SD card and will continuously stay at "Preparing SD card" no matter how long any card is in the phone
- The current SD card can be read in others phones and my computer and will show all 740 pics/videos but can not be opened due to previous forced encryption by MobileIron

This leads me to believe the SD card is not corrupted and that the files may still be able to be accessed. The other info I have found from forums tells me the best way to get the phone to read an SD card again is to reset it BUT my fear with that is if I do that and the card is encrypted to the phone itself I will never be able to get that data back.

I feel like I'm stuck in the middle and everyone I talk to tries to push me off on someone else.

I would be so appreciative of any suggestions on what I might be able to do to get these pictures back. I stupidly don't have them saved anywhere else and would do anything to get back the pics of my kids from the past 6 months.

Thank you for any help you can provide!

Have you received any replies to this yet? I am having the same issue with my Samsung Galaxy S5. The MobileIron app will not encrypt the SD card any longer, so my phone will not recognize it.
