Root Endless boot! Need help

Ok so i flashed xtrsense onto my eris and the CPU was set to 710mhz. I thought it would be faster at 806mhz and it was much faster and well i wanted to see what would be the safest setting and the fastest. I overclocked it to 826mhz. My fone ran smoothly then it hit a bump. I did a little too much and my eris froze. I pulled the battery out and restarted ny phone. It loaded up and then completly restarted. It did this for about 10 minutes and i tried rebooting it from the recovery menu. nothin so what do i do now.

Well, the easy way is to restart the phone in recovery and wipe data from the wipe menu and set everything up from scratch.

The harder way is, assuming that you have the SDK installed, start in recovery, attach your phone to your computer, and delete the SetCPU config file from the phone. I believe that the commands would be something like this:

adb shell
rm -r /data/data/com.huang.overclocking

Then restart the phone. If that doesn't work, see wiping data above. If that doesn't work, wipe data and reflash the ROM.

I strongly suggest that you do not overclock faster than 710 MHz. That's a pretty safe setting.

You should just have to do your wipes, and reboot. You need to clear the current memory. If that doesn't work, wipe and reflash the rom.

thanx guys. i figured it out right after i posted this lol. boot into recovery wipe dalvik cache, fatory reset and flashed my rom back on and reboot and viola it was perfect
