Help Enter Car Mode by choice?

Is there a way to force the DINC2 into car mode? AFAIK, only the act of stuffing the DINC2 into the right sort of dock does the job - is there a widget or shortcut to force car mode?

Type Car panel into you google search bar and it will take you right to it.

Thanks! Odd, though, that there's no shortcut, widget, etc. associated with Car panel. Or at least I haven't found it. But then, I didn't think about the search, either.

if you install Multicon, it allows creation of 4 icons in the space normally filled by one.
I tried it, and found that you can select "Car Panel" as an icon. The problem is, once you're in car panel mode, I couldn't figure out how to get OUT of it lol!

Pull down the tray at the top, tap the car icon, and you're out of car mode.

thanks! outside of multicon, I don't see another way to create a shortcut (funny that USA on multicon's menu, but not the stock one).

Yup that is a pain. I use wave launcher and set the car mode as one of the icons

Thanks for the tip on Wave Launcher as well as a way to invoke car mode.
