Epic 4G 2

Just saw the news item about this phone. I have not heard anything about it since back in June. Do you think it would still launch with the same specs now?? Single core processor would be unacceptable. If you have heard any new specs, what are they?
 
Yes, that's the one.

I bought the Epic 4G, but the Sprint service was not good for me (it was not available on Verizon at that time). So, I ended up going with a Droid. Now I am waiting on the Droid 4 for the upgrade, but I might be interested in checking out the Epic 4G 2 if it would have comparable specs, depending on where all it lands.

The Epic 4G is a nice phone, but I will not buy another Samsung cell phone. They make great TVs, but I was rather disappointed with their level of commitment to their phones. Contrast that to the extra mile that HTC (who has a limited line of products) goes for their customers to the gajillion number of products that Samsung supports, and it really becomes a no-brainer.
 
I do think that Samsung has stepped up their game, though. Since the launch of their Galaxy line, I hear they are doing a great deal better.
