recently on my epic 4g the 4g is sucking..takes forever to load up stuff.. Is it my phone or something else? Please help didnt have time to write much,
Also, it was never updated to 2.2 I its still stock but recently 4g has gotten SLOW it takes half a minute or so to upload a web page that used to take a fraction of a second on 4g I turned my phone on and off constantly to try to fix the peoblem but nothing is working please help
I'm having some similar issues. Both my 3g and 4g service have become VERY slow but WiFi runs at normal speed. I can tell when the 3g is running that the data connection stops and starts (send/receive arrows) while before it would load smoothly with solid arrows.
I am probably going to backup (still planning that to try to prevent losing any text/contact data) and do a hard reset b/c it's been this way about a week and removing apps seems to have made no positive impact.
The strange thing is that only http data specifically over the spint network is being throttled from what I can tell. Pandora also seems to load normally and that data goes over port 443.
Does your 3g/4g also load slowly on web pages but speedtest.net/mini.php shows decent througput during the actual test?
I also want to compare my phone to the ones in the Sprint store - hopefully can do that tomorrow before I fall back to a reset.
