Epic 4G Charge notification light turned purple!

I unplugged my phone from the charger and had a text, i dont know why but the light turned purple it was a really cool color too. Hopefully chompsms gets updated!

Yea, the only three colors on the Epic 4G LED are red, blue and magenta (combining of red and blue).

When you received that SMS text notification, did it blink indefinitely until you woke up the screen or did it just blink 20-50 times then turn off? Mine seems to turn off and I wish it would just keep blinking (LED hardly uses any battery life). I'm using Chomp SMS

Chompsms didnt even indicate the LED notification, the light didnt blink at all. Also Handcent works great with the LED and keeps blinking.

I can't get anything to blink through Handcent. When I had my Droid X, that thing did EVERY color. I set it in the Handcent app, but when I test it, I don't get anything. Anyone help me set it up? Thanks!

Wow thats odd, I have gotten texts when my phone's charging light was blue, but the light would remain blue. Can you recreate it?

Clark, you can use an app called Light Flow or Light Flow Lite. It is a nice program but It had a few bugs, Blue flashing light constantly, when I last used it.
