Find a tech that will reset factory settings for you? (If you haven't bricked it permanently...).

Take the SD card out and put a ROM on it put the SD card back in the phone and boot into CWM3 then install ZIP from sdcard then choose ZIP from sdcard. Good luck and please keep us updated.
 
I have done this myself, no worries. You just have to flash your phone with odin. Cwm3 is touchy and takes a few tries, for me to get it to work right i did it 4 times. Everytime before it worked right i had that same issue. Makes you freak out though!
 
ok im new...whats odin and where do i get it???

when i try to install the viper rom it says Please switch edify scripting (updater-script and update binary) to create working update zip packages. Installation aborted
 
Odin is a flashing tool. Im on my phone so i cant link it but if you do a search on it you will find lots of threads. If you are seeing about edifying scripts i would stay away from it until you are more comfortable with all of this and find one that is rfs, which is standard script. Just my opinion.
 
I like the odin way best to load froyo. just seems like the best way to get it in. Check Samsung driver you useing and try reinstalling it. I had some problems loading a driver for a buddy. Also when you plug the phone into the pc make sure you wait for the device to setup. You should get a new hardware found MSG and just wait for the your device is installed and ready for use MSG. Then unplug phone from pc turn it off. Open keyboad hold down the number 1 key and push the power button. You should have a yellow downloading screen on the phone. Plug into pc start odin. You should see a yellow box in the ID:COM field take the check out of the f.reset time box and you are ready to go to load the TAR file.
 
got it...ull be amazed what..removing battery..rebooting programs, doing this several times...then it will work out of no where. lol
