Help Epic 4G Speakerphone Echoes

Hi, 9 days ago I purchased an Epic 4G from a Sprint Store. Yesterday I came back to the store complaining of ECHOES from the receiving end only with the SPEAKERPHONE on. The Tech tested it and told me that all smartphones are like that except for Blackberries. I said "Is that a fact or a matter of opinion?" He said "that's a fact." Do anyone have anything to say about my issue? Thank you very much.
 
I wouldn't say "all".

I've had a few people comment on how good the speakerphone on my epic sounds to them on the other end of the call.

I have had no complaints on my end either.

People complain to me that they hear themselves echo when I have the phone plugged into the AUX port in my car. It sounds just fine on my end, so I always just tell them to deal with it since I don't feel like unplugging the thing and talking while driving.

No one's ever complained about just being on regular speakerphone, though.
