Epic epic fail !

I'll start:



we all know of the Samsung gs2, then we have the Samsung star from 2010 ( 207 mhz processor with 3.2 mp camera.

I'd I asked you which had the clearest camera you would automatically reply the gs2. but you would be very very wrong, the dpi (dots per inch) on the gs2 is only 72 but on the star it is 96. you will notice this difference on a 19 inch lcd display. don't worry, Im just as shoked as you are.

here you have a flagship device getting beaten by an old low grade device.

the epic fail that i have seen... apple's antenna-gate...

epic fail 1:
design to look cool... metal band on the outside.. lets make that the antenna!
i am sure that someone inside apple (must likely a lot of people).. raised the yellow flag and warned about the potential issue with reception and how it will be negatively affected by a human touch.
but they thought that look was more important.. over function...

Epic fail 2:
then Jobs wanted to cover it up.. with "you are holding it wrong"

Epic fail 3:
then to fix the user's stupid inability to hold it correctly.. Jobs gives a rubber bumper to fix the issue.. which hides the pretty metal band.

I personally believe that there is more to image quality than just dpi (or ppi to be exact), but you may never know.

I'll go further - the dpi of the display has zero bearing on the image quality of the camera.
