Help Epic fail installing Gingerbread

So at 11am I saw my phone had the update for Gingerbread. Freakin' sweet, right? Well...basically my phone said it was installing GB until around 8pm when I had last checked on it before...the battery died! Now my phone is stuck in a boot loop. Shows the initial LG startup screen, goes black, and returns to the LG startup screen. First of all, I found it very odd that it was taking NINE hours to install the update. Has anyone else had this issue? How do I fix it?

My phone did the same thing and all you can do is call tmo and they will send you a refurb..
