Help Epic will charge but not connect.

I'm out of ideas. I've tried searching everywhere but can't find a solution. My epic will charge but will not connect to anything. I've tried 2 laptops, Xbox, playstation and 3 desktops but none will read it. I've tried changing the cables using different ports and nothing. I dialed ##8778# to change the settings from modem to pda and it has no effect. Anybody have anymore ideas?
