Help epic.. wireless phone signal?

Question...

My boyfriend has a blackberry and when he connects to my wireless internet at my house he gets better/full service for calling and texting!

Now when I connect my new epic to the wireless all that is better is the internet speed..

Is there a way to connect to wireless and get better signal? Does the epic even do this?

No it doesn't do UMA like Tmobile does. All it helps is your data connection.
