I recently erased and deregistered my rooted NC. I plan to give it away for x-mas but when I restarted to try and set it up (to make sure it would be easy for the recipient to set-up) I found that it was no longer able to connect to google. This means the market is unavailable and defeats the entire purpose of giving it to them! Help?

Yes, wifi isn't a problem, I can browse the internet and everything but for some reason google won't let me sign in. So frustrating!

I'd reflash the latest Google apps from recovery.
If that doesn't work, do a system reset (or format data from recovery... same thing)

No. It's very hard to brick your NC since it can always boot off the sdcard.
You're telling me you have more problems, but not what you did.
Just start over and reinstall CM7.
