Ive read in earlier post about new notifications for mounting sd card to pc. I don't get any notification when i plug it in. Ive tried a number of times. Is there a setting I need to enable/change somewhere? It starts charging and led lights up but no option to transfer files or anything.

The only bugs I have noticed have been the usual ones (gmail sync error and gmail pics in e-mail).
The only other thing I have noticed other than those is that when I get an incoming call it displays the phone number for a few seconds before it realizes that its someone in my contacts and displays their name and contact picture.

if you go to settings --> Connect to PC, you can select what you would like it to do and change the default.

Reading through all the posts, not having any problems that has been reported . The only problem I have is that when I opened up Text Plus, my contacts came up as numbers. Any fixes?
I have tried all the settings. And I have ask me checked. When I plug into computer though it gives me no options, but it does charge.

I am also. My time without signal is 52%. My battery really isn't suffering though.
Mine did that the first time I put the icons up. If you just remove them and put them back in they will straighten out.

Been trolling the forums for a week or so since I got my new Eris. I love it, its so much better than my LG DARE. I downloaded and installed the leaked 2.1 OS two days ago and while it looks a lot nicer than 1.5 I have a major issue.....Its SLOW to load essential apps
In my experience 2.1 takes longer to open the most basic apps like the stock text and email programs. When the phone is in sleep mode the time it takes for the phone to unsleep and the Lock Screen to appear takes longer than 1.5.
Has anyone else experienced this same issue?

So I don't know if this 'bug' has been posted yet but it's happened to me about 3 times today. For some reason my sound keeps going out (ie. ringtones, music won't play). The volume is up and everything there just isnt sound coming out of the phone, when I get a call it just vibrates, my ringtone volume is all the way up and I have it set to a specific song for all phone calls. This forces me to reboot my phone to get everything back to normal, it's not a huge inconvenience just a bit annoying. Anyone else experience this?

Mine has been a bit higher than that and I live in an area with great coverage so I doubt it actually means time with out actual signal.

I had the same issue today .... "Silent Dial" .... the call would go through (dial out or in) but could not hear anyone & they could not hear me!
I did notice the battery bar was orange, down to <15%, so wondered if there was a link there.
Not so, was able to make a normal call after a battery pull & reboot.
Another annoying issue is that my Jawbone BT headset does not work when listening to Visual VM playback.
Otherwise LOVE the update ;-)

I updated to 2.1 2 days ago. I experienced many of the same problems reported here. Earlier things got a little worse, then alot worse. My phone, on two separate instances randomly called someone in my contacts, my phone rang like it was an incoming call. Both myself and the person called heard a recorded message asking me to enter my password, it sounded like i had dialed voicemail.
This was bugging me, so I did a factory reset. Now I cannot get any service, *228 says "Sorry, but we are unable to program your phone at this time".

Well under the heading of "It ain't a problem until it's happening to you!"--I thought battery use was OK, but that was b/c I had it plugged in most of the time. I found out what others have been experiencing regarding battery drain. I had about 1/2 battery left and watched it drain in 3 hours on standby with no use at all. Cell standby was 35% of the drain and phone idle was 31%. Hopefully a fix is in the works.
I've read through the forum, but I haven't seen a workaround for the 100% awake issue. Ever since I updated to 2.1 I've had this issue. In spare parts it says that android system is not sleeping at all. Also, I've had the problem with not getting as many bars as I used to get. Are there any work arounds to these issues or do I need to just wait for the ota?

I called customer service (*611). The guy said that they are updating their systems, and this is why I cannot get my phone to reprogram. He said I should be able to program, and re-enable my service my 8:00am.
I hope he is right...

My signal stays at 1-2 bars most of the time, but i never seem to actually have a low signal.
What i get now is an icon in the notification bar at the top that lets me choose what to do. Charge, Sync, or connect as mass storage. I didn't set it up to do anything, totally auto.
