Two, Fox News, Fox Sports for sure. I'll run it again and see.
Nothing new.
"Your phone is very clean."

Is there a Glenn Beck Soundboard (shudder)?Maybe the Antivirus is just very liberal.![]()
It wasn't really a guess. Unless you have the alarm volume turned all the way down (Audio manager is a great app for setting volumes), the alarm tone set to silent or don't have it turned on at all (little alarm clock icon in status bar should be there if on) then you are killing it some how. There really aren't all that many other options. The best test is to go into the alarm when you go to bed and make sure that it is set and running. Then without killing anything on the phone let it just be. If the alarm goes off in the morning then you have somehow been killing it during the day. If it doesn't for some reason (assuming the alarm sound isn't silent, it is on and the volume is up) then you might have some sort of app conflict with something else you installed.
Approximately how many contacts are you syncing? If there are a huge number, it's possible the process can't handle it. I have 30-40 that sync and have never had a problem.Ok this is irritating.
I keep getting com.htc.bg and the force close button or wait. Wait does nothing.
It happens when I go to sync and I know it has to be face book because I've updated my profile pic on my pc but it shows my old one when I text.
I've changed the spare parts thing to normal and not aggressive. Is the only other option turning off face book sync? If so seriously why did I buy a 'smart' phone?
Or should I just wipe and reflash and see what happens?
I've played around with brightness vs battery life some, but my general phone usage varies a lot from day to day. It would be interesting to look at battery usage as a factor of Display (via the Battery settings) for various brightness settings, but because display is impacted by phone awake time - and mine is all over the place - I don't think I'd personally get much out of it.

Haven't read about anyone else having that problem, and it sounds like you've reached the end of what you can do in terms of "user-servicable" action. I'd take the thing to a VZW store and hope for the best.I'm continuing to have the trackball issue. At first, my trackball slid my screen to the left only when it was plugged directly into my computer. Now it does it ALL the time. It makes it impossible to type at times or do anything else on the phone.
I have tried cleaning it with an alcohol wipe to no avail. Has anyone figured out another fix for this problem?

I guess that's true, but if the phone's already unusable (which it sort of sounds like it is), then I don't really see what you have to lose. If the issue was a factor of 2.1, I think we'd have heard of it before. I do vaguely recall one other post on the matter... was that one yours too?I'm worried that taking it into the store will result in a note on my account that my phone is no longer under warranty because I updated to 2.1. I guess I'll just have to wait and hope the OTA comes soon, as Frisco has suggested in the 2.1 when? thread.
Noticed in the other thread you got that fixed. I assume it's still working.Exchange accounts arent working now that I upgraded to 2.1
Any suggestions? It keeps saying failure to authenticate
diddoI've been having some issues with my WIFI, turning on WiFi by using the shortcut "Wi-fi" widget will not automatically connect to my remembered WIFI connections. In order to get it to connect i have to go to Settings>Wireless & Networks>Wi-Fi Settings
Once i'm in this screen, it will automatically connect to my Wifi.
it should connect automatically to my remembered connection when i turn on the wifi![]()
