Eris battery work on the Incredible?

How do you know the ext battery is OEM? So it's by HTC? I'm pretty sure I sa the brand listed as Superior which doesn't sound OEM.

I jet hope a case comes out that accommodates the thicker ext battery.

Any word on such a case? Will any of the silicone cases stretch enough to fit the extra 1 mm that the thicker battery adds to the phone?

For my Eris, I have the stock HTC battery and also a 1750 Seidio that I picked up. I have a desktop charger that simultaneously charges my phone (with a battery in it) and a spare battery. Most of the time I make it through the day on one battery, but occasionally I have a heavier use day and I have to swap batteries. I always start the day with whichever battery finished the previous day in the phone. Hence, some days I use my Seidio battery and some days I use the HTC battery. In my experience, the Seidio 1750 unfailingly outlasts the stock HTC battery. If I start the day with the stock HTC, I make it through the day less frequently on that battery alone. Hence, FWIW, in my experience the 1750 is a solid battery. I will be hanging onto mine if it fits in my Incredible, which should arrive tomorrow. Now if only someone will produce a charger for the Inc that simultaneously charges a spare battery like the unit I have for my Eris...

I don't know that my TP2 batteries are OEM they do have HTC logos all over them and look almost identical to my factory Eris battery but really I could care less they both out last my Eris battery they were super cheap they came with a fantastic waall charger that will charge my phone and extra battery at the same tiime . So I'm happy.
I'm just sharing my expierence from others , oviously if someone was to want to trade me there 1750 for one of my 1500 I forsure wouldn't turn it down I just don't think it's worth the extra $30-$40

Actually they are one and the same. The 1750mah ext battery for my Eris is a perfect fit in my Inc....I haven't tested it yet for longevity though compared to the original Inc battery. Here's the link to the post or you can look at these pics ::

Someone PM'd me to ask me how the results were going with my new TP2 battery that I've had for a couple of days. So I thought I would share with everyone in case anyone else is interested, so here goes.

Keep in mind, I'm a very heavy user. I'm an eCommerce Director so I get a couple hundred emails a day. I've probably had about 100 of those so far today and I'm connected via Active Sync to our corporate email with direct push enabled. I also have my Gmail connected and my Yahoo checking every hour. I also have the native facebook app and bloo facebook app going (one for personal, one for work). I also have Twidroid running and checking every 30 minutes. It checks two accounts (again, one personal and one work account) I've only spoken on the phone twice dotay and probably only for a total of 5 minutes. I have forced my screen to be 50% brightness. I have no BT or WiFi enabled. I have also read my FeedR RSS reader several times this morning and checked the AndroidForums via TapaTalk a couple of times. I've also tooled around in a couple of other programs like my TD Ameritrade app and PageOnce office Assistant checking balances and such. Oh, yeah and I updated 3 programs and installed a new one (DropBox's new App, LOVE IT! :D)

So here's where I stand. I'm on my 2nd day (cycle) with the TP2 battery and my phone says I've been "unplugged" for 5 1/2 hours and I have 65% battery life. So by my estimation I will be at about 50% at 7 hours. That means I'll get at least 14 hours of heavy use out of it and that's only after 2 charging cycles. I imagine that I will end up at around 15-16 hours after 5 or so charging cycles. With the standard battery I would get 8-10 hours and that's after the "typical break in period". So that's a pretty good increase.

Even so, I did just order the Seidio 1750 mAh to give it a try. I'm not satisfied unless I have juice to spare and I ran out at 9:30 last night in the middle of replying on the forums of all times. Lost about a paragraph of thumb typed text :(

But that's it for now. I hope you found this helpful. I should have my Seidio battery by next Monday or so, and I will put that through it's paces. By then I will know for sure how well the HTC TP2 battery performed.
 
I received the extended battery. It fits and works. The life is longer, I can't quantify it though. I am only on my second charge. At the very least I would recommend getting the Seidio extended if you are buying an extra because there is an improvement.
 
Am leaving on a trip this weekend, and although I ordered a Seidio battery, it won't come in for a couple weeks. I stopped at the Verizon store this morning and bought an Eris OEM battery. None of the salespeople thought it would work. It did, it fit fine, and at least I have a backup on my trip.
 
Eris and Incredible batteries are the same! 100%
Minus the red color of the Incredible of course! Ok, so maybe 99.5% but you know what I mean.
