I think you've told me what I needed. I think the Eris has the miniUSB, not the micro. Although I may just skip the car charger unless I see a need for it. The early reports on the battery look encouraging.
If you have mini chargers, don't run out and spend cash on new micro chargers. Get the mini to micro usb adapter from motorola. I bought 5 a year ago and all still work perfectly. Something around .99 cents each on amazon.
