Help Eris connecting to PC problems?!?!?

Okay I plugged my Eris into my computer via the usb cable, and I made sure it was set to disk drive, and nothing happened. I even when to my computer and tried to open the Disk Drive, and it just gave me a message saying nothing was there! Please help!?

Did you restarting the computer? Did you try a different mini-USB cable?
