Eris OS 2.0 Upgrade to Eris w/OS 1.5

Please forgive these very basic questions. I'm new to smartphones and considering the Eris. If I purchase my Eris now w/OS 1.5 (Verizon), will it receive the 2.0 upgrade or do you get what you buy and that's it? If my Eris will upgrade to the 2.0, will that OS allow some of the same apps you can get on the Motorola Droid like the one that allows you to point at the sky and it will tell you the constellations, etc?

You'll receive the upgrade and you'll be able to use the nifty applications. Though you can already use Google Sky Map. It's available in the market.

Thank you! I'm sure I'll be back w/more questions after buying my phone. I've already learned a lot reading all of the posts...some are just greek to me right now!!!
