Eris OTA Update

I've been saying the release version is the same as ours, but it's just me being a smart ass. But about bugs, I really don't find this all that buggy either. I got Win 7 a few months ago and since then there have been so many updates that I can't even count. Hotfixes out the door. Why don't we think 2.1 will be the same? Bugs, fix.. bugs, fix.. It's really just a normal cycle these days.
 
2 things i know to be true that i have no actual facts or proof to back up

1. the leak that we are running is not the final version

2. people who are running the leak WILL get the OTA.

Things seem to be getting so heated around here lately...kinda funny, but really sad actually. Come on people, we can wait just a little longer :) We'll all be on the same playing field soon enough.

Yeah, remember that in the first two months after the Eris's release there were three updates/patches to fix its bugs. 2.1 has a few issues, but on the whole it has been more stable for me than 1.5 was when it came out, plus it has cool new features and can run newer apps not available for 1.5.

Well all VZ ever said was we would get an update to 2.x in Q1. So they will push out 2.0 on March 31 and wait on 2.1 till June or something. Sell some N1s and/or Incredibles in the mean time.

I know you're joking a little about that, but I still think the long term goal may be to move Nexus Ones. I've never seen such a marketing strategy since iPhone.
