Root Eris rebooting spontaneously

I am running Aloysius v12. I have removed most of the rosie stuff. I am using JIT. Installed ADW but running Launcher Pro.
My phone reboots itself about 4 times a day. It doesnt matter if it is charging, or if I am running an app of some kind, or on the phone. It will just reboot. First it started while running ADW and oc'd to 786. So, I switched to LP and slowed it down to 748. Still reboots.

What can be causing this?

There seems to be a prevailing belief amongst experienced rooters, even developers of ROMS I've noticed posting about this, that overclocking the Eris above 710 as the max will eventually lead to problems such as random reboots.

I've seen it reported that things "were fine for quite a while," and then, with no other changes in the phone, the reboots started.. sometimes, but not always, along with over heating.

I'm new at rooting, so I'm not speaking from experience (mine remains at 710/528).

do not run 768.
Short term - random reboots
long term - bye bye phone

i found this out earlier this week

the phone rebooted, and stayed on the 3 android skateboard screen
then just stopped turning on

now I have a new Eris that I will not push past 710
(yes, i was lucky an got a new hboot 1.47 Eris)

I'm just glad we didn't lose your avatar!

My wife is none too happy about seeing it on my screen all the time...:D ["who is THAT you are talking to?" -- jk, I 'splained it all to her ]

JIT is unstable with ROMs that have Sense aspects. I had about 3-4 reboots per day with JIT. None since I removed it.

I read over in another thread another reason for random rebooting.

"Only MOD from there that gave me issues was the battery removal from task bar. It would make the phone random reboot. Others had the same issue."

I am using Droidkevlar's MOD:
v.03 Removed time from task bar (thanks to jschisurf for this)

I wonder if this is why my phone is rebooting? I didnt do the battery removal mod, but the time removal. Battery icon changed to the round battery indicator. Any thoughts on this? Maybe Droidkevlar will read this.

I was running PureEris with no clock without issue. I flashed jschisurf's battery and clock removal and my phone would reboot whenever it received a call. I'm now running DroidKevlar's V2 mod without issue.

I am running v3 mod.

I have disabled JIT.

Phone just rebooted itself again. Indication LED was flashing green while rebooting. I got a text message right before it rebooted. Didnt start at the green skaters, just went straight to the nexus boot animations.

This is getting really annoying now.
