So you have 2 lines?
No it's the same phone line
i just dial *228 and option 3 and switch back and forth
yeah its very simple.
It's just like if you get a new phone today
you can do it
and if something happens to the new phone you can still use the phone and re-activate it
Idk if my process works going from smartphone to dumbphone but yeah i do it a lot...Whenever I get fed up with my eris lol
Does the second phone have to be purchased from Verizon?
I'm confused what your asking
do i have to buy it from verizon? or does it have to be a verizon phone?
you don't have to buy it from verizon as long as it's a verizon phone
so if you have a Env from way back in 2006 and you now have and env 2 from 2009 you can switch bacm and forth between the two
even if you didn't buy the Env from Verizon directly
Which is precisely the reason I kept my old Omnia. Not to switch back and forth, but I could always activate it if something happened to my Eris.
Ditto. I still like the Omnia, but the Eris is great.
omg...two people who actually like the omnia?
i didn't know you guys existed...lol
I remember when I went to get my Moto Droid Launch day right before class...it was super super early....and some ladies were in there wanting to buy an Omnia and the two vzw rep told them he'd have to get her another rep because he didn't want to be the one to sell her Omnia's because they have had so many complaints with that phone over the course of it's life...and then they brought erises
sorry i know this off topic but i just had a flashback of my experience with my omnia...the small keyboard that even a 2 year old couldn't type...no memory...LAG LAG LAG lol
but at least i can say i know 2 ppl who like and/or would still use an omnia lol
the omnia 2 is nice tho
No. I never said that. I hated it so much that Verizon let me upgrade after only 11 months. I was ready to buy out my contract when the manager got involved and let me upgrade.
oh my mistake lol.
the only thing good about that was it's camera
omg...two people who actually like the omnia?
i didn't know you guys existed...lol
So my battery still isnt working and im going to go get a new one today
You can root your replacement...then you can do all sorts off magical things. Yo
indeed. it was pretty durable too. i dropped mine several times. the size was nice too. the responsiveness of the keyboard was pathetic to say the least.
No im trading in my replacement for the Palm Pre Plus
so no rooting hopefully i cant hack the palm for the live wallpapers that are coming
The Eris is covered under my homeowners insurance. Seriously thinking of throwing this POS out the window of my car. It's insured for $600. That would be plenty to get an N1 and still have some leftover.
Idk if you are familiar with precentral.net
which is basically a palm pre/pixi version of this site.
The atmosphere and people over there are truly nice.
And you can do patches to your pre which is basically the same as rooting it
and add themes which changes the look of it.
My roommate was bored and did a theme change to my pre so instead of it looking like the standard pre...it now has a family guy wallpaper with family guy icons
When do you get your pre plus?
so i will get the pre for free they will give me $80 credit on my bill or credit towards accessories for my Pre then i will save $350 and get the Droid unlocked and then sell both For a better phone that will come out later. When i get my replacement Eris in a couple of weeks not in a rush since the verizon rep told me that the Pre and the Pixie will soon be freeso i will get the pre for free they will give me $80 credit on my bill or credit towards accessories for my Pre then i will save $350 and get the Droid unlocked and then sell both For a better phone that will come out later.
