Root Erratic Keyboard issue

hi all.
I'm currently on a V3, rooted stock, cwm recovery, xposed modules. just recently started having issues with my keyboard. and by that, I mean any keyboard.
It'll go thru stages where everything is fine (like now) and other times it will keep minimizing out of sight. I've stopped unnecessary processes, cleared app caches and am still experiencing this. I think it's worse using Facebook & Messenger. Anybody have this going on or have some insight?

Hmmm.. sounds like one of your xposed modules may be interfering. what all modules are you using?

You're running oom (out of memory), it's the reason I haven't installed Facebook yet with this ROM. Or much at all. Try using lighter apps wherever you can use alternatives. Try Waze for your GPS, CM browser for your browser, etc. If you need help lightening up your memory usage let me know or just post a list of all the apps you're okay with using an alternative for.

I just use my mobile site for Facebook. It makes some things a bit inconvenient, like posting pics, but that's 2 fewer apps on the phone, and Facebook seems to be trying to take over everything.

that's a great idea, don. I already use cm browser, but uninstalling chrome, fb & messenger Is on my immediate to-do list. didn't knew that waze was lighter than gmaps, thanks!

thanks for all your input, everyone. The issue is pretty much solved.
