Error message "Sorry backup & Media Has Stopped"

[tnbassman]

I get this message constanly. The phone freezes for 5-6 seconds and then this message pops up. It doesnt shut down any apps or close net connection but its getting real annoying. Im getting this like 25-35 times a day. Anyone else seen this? Any ideas what to do?

While Im at it Im getting unwanted solicitations via the notification box. A small red star appears up top and when I go to notifications it shows web sites trying to sell me stuff. Im running Lookout and all scans come back clean.

Sounds like it's an APP you've downloaded. I would try and delete all the apps you've added since the problem started and add them back until you find which one is causing the issue.
