Keep getting this message "The process com.google.process.gapps has stooped working unexpectedly.

Any thoughts on what this is and how to resolve?

You've removed some stock apps? Perhaps something that was configured to sync?

If not, one of them has become corrupted. I'd first try going into menu > settings > applications > manage applications > gmail (and then other syncing apps) and clear data and cache then reboot. You'll have to reconfigure them, of course.

No, sure haven't.

I'd try the data, cache clearing and rebooting regimen as pointed out above; it's possible something became corrupted.
