Error message

I am trying to set up the sync feature with my HTC-Hero to Windows 7 (64bit) system with Outlook 2007. I was able to get it to sync a few times but now I am getting an sync failed then error message connection to mobile phone timed out. Also I can't seem to get the phone and computer to sync both ways. Can anyone help on this?

Do you use the latest sync program update available? If you're not sure check out htc's website for the downloads in the support section... Hope that might solve the issue
