I keep getting a pop up every few seconds saying Google text to speech engine has stopped...

Anyone know how to get this to stop?

This happened to me about a month ago. It was after updating some Google apps. I can't remember which ones. But I uninstalled/disabled some of the Google apps such as: Maps, Translate, Hangouts, and some others. I later reinstalled the apps and I never got that message again.

Mine did that right after I activated. Updated everything and couple reboots then stopped.

Thanks, I went into the play store and uninstalled the google text to speech update. No more problems so far ..thanks

i had to uninstall update for text/speech.. doesnt work well with zte phones for some reason... stock works tho

Just checked to see if I'm running latest Google text-to-speech. I'm on Jan 14, 2014 version...no problems.
