Error when removing widget

I downloaded the Android Agenda Widget. I placed the widget on my screen. When I tried to remove it with a long press, I got the message:

Sorry!
The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Force Close


How do you get around this?

See if you can go to My Downloads and uninstall it there. Just a thought.

I think droid-dohrk is right, my downloads or applications will be your best bet.

I tried to uninstall the widget and that didnt work.

I was able to go to scenes and replace the last scene I was using. That took the widget away and I was able to start over.
