Error with HBO GO app

Bracchus

Newbie
Hello from a newbie in Elvisland!

I have switched from the iPhone4 to the Atrix and I'm a very happy camper. I bought the Lapdock with the phone and, I must say, I have been thrilled with it. I have the HBO GO app and absolutely love it. I was playing movies from the app on my Lapdock without any issues for about a week. Then, the Droid Market had an HBO GO update - I updated and now... When I open the app now, I get the HBO GO menu screens and the HBO theme music plays. But, when I try to play a movie on the Lapdock, I get an error message saying "Please unplug HDMI or TV out connection", the screen goes black, and the app won't play through the Lapdock. It plays on the phone without any problems.

Can anyone help me out here??

Thanks,
Bracchus

Try to uninstalle the app and reinstalle it and ser what happens.

I tried that. I did a master reset and reloaded the app. I did everything I could think of but I still get the "unplug HDMI cable or TV out" message. Anyone else have this type of problem or has anyone ever seen this message in another application?

As of last night, I am having problems signing in. Not sure why, will check into this.

Edit: Ok I tried to uninstall and reinstall and it wasn't in the market anymore. I even tried using Wifi in airplane mode, in case AT&T was blocking it. I sent the developer an e-mail though.
