I keep getting errors saying than my gmail password is wrong, but its not and the email for my gmail still works. I get loads of emails from verizon that says it has the incorrect password, but my password doesn't work when I try to type it in after clicking on the error notification. It used to work fine until a couple days ago.

It was my fault. I clicked on the option to verify the computers you work on and send text messages with a code if you log on from another computer. It wont work with android unless you make a different password. I turned it off and it worked fine. This is after the idiot tech at verizon deleted my account and told me I had to do another hard reset! I've had the phone for a month and I've done 4 hard resets. At least I'm fast at it now!

to turn off 2 step verification
-log into gmail
-click your name at the top
-click on account settings in the popout box
-click on edit next to 2-step verification
-click on the link that says disable
of you could simply make an application specific password as is explained in the google FAQ
