So I bought my trusty S4 in 2013 off of ebay. When I got it I activated it right away and it has been fine ever since. Now I am looking to upgrade and when I checked my ESN on verizon's site to see how much I can get for a trade in - it says my device was registered as lost or stolen. I thought I couldn't use the device if it was stolen.
I was planning on selling it on ebay but I don't want to screw anyone over. Since it works fine for me, will it work for someone else or will it be unusable? I know some people still buy phones with bad ESNs but obviously it will go for less. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? Thanks!
