Essential Apps

I just ordered a DINC2 (arriving today) and was wondering if there are any apps that you thing are essential. Are there any apps that you just can't live without? Juice defender? Any apps for texting? Just curious.

Thanks

For me, Easy Reminder. This app lets you control your SMS and miss call alerts. Since this phone only alerts me once on a missed text. Often times, I didn't notice the alert. Easy Reminder can set alerts to multiple times or indefinitely until you read your text or missed call. Pretty neat.

Now that people are making malware and viruses for Android, I think Lookout is a must-have.

Also, since the phone has a front-facing camera, I use Tango. This app scans your contacts and lists all of the ones that have Tango/have FFC's and lets you chat with them. Doesn't let you chat with laptops though. If you don't like that, there are a bunch of 3rd party video chat apps that will hold you over until Gingerbread comes to our phone.

These are my favorite must haves :) (Still trying different music players)

I like the "GO" series; Go Contacts, Go Weather and Go SMS. They're all free and I think do a better job than the default apps. I also really like the Swype keyboard (free beta) and Screebl for controlling the screen.
